EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
(Samaritan Interfaith)
WHO IS SAMARITAN INTERFAITH?
Samaritan Interfaith is a non-profit organization providing individual,
group, marital, and family
counseling and psychotherapy. They offer a unique approach to counseling,
recognizing that body,
mind and spirit are all important in the healing process. They have
partnered with Loaves & Fishes
to provide counseling services to pantry clients who are struggling with
stressful circumstances.
The pantry will offer group counseling sessions, as well as individual
counseling sessions, which
are scheduled separately at the determination of the counselor.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICES?
Only Loaves & Fishes clients and individual members of a client household
are allowed to access
these services. Individuals who are NOT pantry clients (outside the service
area, or over-income limits)
should contact Samaritan Interfaith directly (630-357-2456) for information
on counseling services.
WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?
Counseling sessions are offered at different times. Appointments are
requested in advance. Samaritan
Interfaith counselors are generally available to speak to Loaves & Fishes
clients on Tuesdays from
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Clients who would like a private conference should
fill out the program request
form for a call back from Samaritan counselors.
