Loaves & Fishes depends on committed people like you to meet our mission of ending hunger in our community.

Although many local faith communities support us, Loaves & Fishes is not church based and has no religious affiliation. We receive limited funding from local government, and are largely supported by our community: individuals, businesses, faith communities, and organizations who believe in our mission.

With your help, in Fiscal Year 2012, we:

• Enrolled 2,556 new families, representing a 71% increase over 2011.

• Provided nourishment to 17,803 individuals (unduplicated count), an increase of 64% over 2011, yielding 1,458,065 meals.

• Provided 6,065 school-aged children with breakfast/lunch assistance as part of our School Nutrition Program, an increase of 69% over 2011.

• Provided families over 3,156,358 pounds of groceries, or over 60,000 pounds of groceries each week.
