Welcome! Loaves & Fishes depends on committed people like you
to meet our mission of ending hunger in our community.
Our Guidelines
1. All volunteers (with the exception of Teen Time and specially scheduled work groups)
must attend an orientation session.
2. All volunteers must complete an application.
Age Requirements
On-site:
Because we want to ensure volunteering is safe and enjoyable for all, the minimum age for
volunteers on-site in the pantry is 18 years of age. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions
for volunteers younger than high school at our location. Any questions regarding exceptions
will be referred back to our Younger than 14 list.
Teen Time at the pantry:
High school age volunteers (age 14-18) may volunteer at the pantry warehouse during Teen Time only*:
- Mondays, 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Tuesdays, 3:30 to 5 p.m.
*You do not need to attend an orientation, but you must pre-register to volunteer at Teen Time.
Off-site:
Age restrictions do not apply to home deliveries or certain work outside of the pantry.

Volunteer Footwear Policy:
Please note that the Pantry is a warehouse. For your safety, all volunteers must wear
closed-toe shoes. You will not be allowed to volunteer wearing flip flops and/or
open-toe sandals. Thank you.
