Volunteer

Loaves & Fishes depends on committed people like you to
meet the Pantry’s mission of ending hunger in our community.
We need volunteers to receive, inspect, sort, stock, bag,
distribute, and deliver food to our neighbors in need.
Donating your time truly does help end hunger in our community.

1. Volunteers must call the pantry to register prior to
volunteering.

2. All volunteers must complete an application and
attend an orientation.

3. Volunteer opportunities are detailed in our
Volunteer Application.

Want to know more? Are you a business or organization interested in volunteering as a work group?

Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, by email at volunteer@loaves-fishes.org or by phone at 630.355.3663.

Pantry Volunteer Footwear Policy:
Please note that the Pantry is a warehouse. For your safety,
all volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. You will not be allowed to volunteer wearing flip flops and/or open-toe sandals. Thank you.

Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old can volunteer on
