- Get Ready for the Auction
The Silent Auction will open on Friday, August 21, and close at 10:00 pm on Saturday, August 29. To bid or donate, you will connect with our auction site through a smartphone (recommended) or a computer.
Smartphone: Text loaves20 to 76278 and follow the instructions.
Computer: Visit loaves20.givesmart.com and click on the green Register Now button.
Once you have completed these steps, you can browse our auction catalog, bid, and donate.
- Make Sure Your Credit Card is Ready
When you want to place a bid on an auction item or make a donation, you will first have to enter a credit card number; click on the yellow Add Credit Card button to do so. Your card will only be charged for winning bids or donations. If you wish to pay by means other than a credit card, please contact Nicole at nlouis@loaves-fishes.org before August 26.
- Bid in the Live Auction
Live Auction items will open for pre-bidding on Wednesday, August 26. (See Lots #201-205 on our auction website: loaves20.givesmart.com.) The final, fast-paced bidding will take place during our live broadcast on Saturday, August 29, so make sure you tune in!
- Auction and Donation Check Out
The silent auction closes at 10:00 pm on August 29. Your credit card will be charged for winning bids and donations at this time. All donors will receive a mailed receipt that can be used for tax purposes. If you have any questions about payment, please contact Nicole at nlouis@loaves-fishes.org.
- Auction Item Pick Up
All auction winners will be notified after the event and provided with detailed instructions. Items that cannot be mailed will be available for pick up from the Naperville offices of Loaves & Fishes starting September 1. Alternative arrangements are available.
