Loaves & Fishes Community Services provides assistance to families residing in Naperville and DuPage County.
We believe that food is a right and not a privilege. Food insecurity is a public health concern having medical, educational and economic impact on our community. By actively reducing food insecurity, we are improving the health of our community for all of us.
Not having enough food can be scary, and finding resources can be hard. We’re here to help.
Loaves & Fishes serves residents of Naperville and Naperville Township. DuPage County residents in need of food assistance are also eligible to receive food distributions. To qualify for food assistance, a household’s gross monthly income must be within the guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Human Services income guidelines for their family size.

How to Enroll/Register
Enrollment occurs at your first visit during regular food pick-up hours (listed above). For all clients, both new and existing, we require TWO (2) pieces of identification each time you register for food pick-up:
- A driver’s license, state ID, passport, or a consular ID card.
- A current utility bill in your name or the name of someone in your household, OR, if you do not have a current utility bill, a lease in your name.
Every time you come to Loaves & Fishes for a food distribution, you must bring these documents. If you do not bring them, we can only serve you the emergency food we have on our emergency shelves. Please have your documents ready for the check-in desk volunteer.
Any person listed as a member of your household can come to the pantry to pick up food distributions as long as they have the required documents. If no one from your household is available to pick up food, you can designate an individual to act on your behalf. This individual must have a completed proxy form and client identification in order to pick up household food. (Proxy – English or Spanish).
Please bring your own shopping bags as we can’t guarantee supply.
