Calling all high school students! After completing a required orientation, teens can volunteer in several ways to support our mission. We have Teen Time created for 14/15 year olds working alongside other teens under the leadership of our experienced volunteers. For 16/17 year olds we offer the flexibility to volunteer with other teens, OR with our adult volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are Monday and Thursday after school and Saturday mornings.
Loaves & Fishes 2018-19 Teen Board- The Teen Board is on break right now.

The fall project for the board was a huge book drive for our client children! The teens worked for 4 weeks and collected over 2500 new and nearly new books for the children to take home when mom or dad are at Loaves & Fishes for services. Plans for the next project are in the works!

Did you know that 1 in 5 kids can’t count on three meals a day? Now, kids aged 6+ can help feed other local children via service activities at Loaves & Fishes! In groups of 6-12 (accompanied by one adult for every 4 children), kids can learn about our mission and then get directly involved in one or more of the following:
- Pack healthy snack bags for kids
- Fill the shelves of our grocery market
This is the perfect opportunity for scouts, teams, faith youth groups or neighbors to perform hands-on activities that benefit our community! These one hour events occur on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm. We are now booking for 2020! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to check for future availability!
Loaves & Fishes loves working with schools to educate students about hunger in their community and inspire them to work to end it. Here are ways we can work together:
- Invite a Loaves & Fishes representative to speak to your class, club, or all-school assembly
- Organize a tour of our facility for a class or a group of grade-level representatives
- Sponsor an all-school food drive/donation competition
