Loaves & Fishes Community Services is pleased to announce the appointment of three board members: Nancy Couch, McKenzie Kuhn, and Thomas J. Schnell.
Each brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to community service, enhancing the organization’s leadership as it continues to serve families in need across DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.
Nancy Couch is a community servant with more than 15 years of volunteer service to Loaves & Fishes. A passionate advocate for ending hunger and transforming lives, Nancy has served her community through volunteer work with District 203 and her local church, and is now returning to the Loaves & Fishes Board of Directors. Nancy holds a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and has been a resident of Naperville for 45 years. She and her husband, Jeff – a track and cross country coach at Naperville Central – raised three sons in the community they continue to serve.
McKenzie Kuhn is an estate planning attorney at Kuhn, Heap & Monson in Naperville, concentrating her practice on estate planning. She serves as Chair of the Steering Committee for the DuPage Foundation’s Next Generation Initiative and is a member of both the Planned Giving Advisory Council for the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Development Committee for the Diocese of Joliet. She resides in Naperville with her husband and their two children.
Thomas (“Tom”) Schnell brings more than 32 years of banking, capital markets, and investment experience. He retired from J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in 2019 after serving for more than 20 years in leadership roles within Corporate & Investment Banking in Chicago and London. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he spent 12 years with PNC Bank Corporation, most recently as a Senior Vice President. Throughout his career, Tom developed extensive expertise in corporate banking, commercial real estate, the lodging industry, and strategic financial planning.Tom currently oversees his family investments and serves on the Investment Committee of DuPage Foundation. He holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Eastern Illinois University.
