JOB SEARCH SUPPORT
WHAT IS JOB SEARCH SUPPORT?
Volunteers and staff offer a wide range of technical and practical job search
support to anyone who is
unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change.
In addition, volunteers provide one-on-one
assistance with Career Counseling,
Interviewing, Job Search, LinkedIn, Networking, Resume and basic
computer
skills. The Community Career Center, a non-profit organization that offers assistance to
job
seekers, is a partner of Loaves & Fishes.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICES?
Only pantry clients and individual members of a client household
are eligible for free job search support
at the pantry. Clients at the pantry are encouraged to fill out the
program request form
to be contacted by
a volunteer counselor to talk with them about their needs.
WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?
Job Search Support is generally available to clients during Loaves & Fishes open
hours. Clients will be
contacted
directly by the Program Volunteer to talk about their needs and set up an
appointment, if
appropriate.
Appointment times are flexible for the client’s convenience.
