Costs are rising, whether for a gallon of milk, a tank of gas or this year’s Thanksgiving turkey.
Figures released this week by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reveal the consumer price index, which measures the price of food, shelter, energy, and new and used vehicles, rose more than 6% in the past year, the biggest 12-month spike since 1990.
