Loaves and Fishes Community Services has launched a new online grocery market for clients.
One of the state’s largest food pantries, Loaves and Fishes created the service because in-person shopping can be difficult for clients who work multiple jobs or have physical constraints. Clients can complete an order online within 10 minutes.

A new Loaves & Fishes app allows clients to place food orders electronically and select a pickup time that works with their schedule.
Known as the Loaves & Fishes Online Market, items can be preselected and the order filled for pickup at the Naperville nonprofit’s distribution center at 580 Exchange Court in Aurora.
Loaves & Fishes “Battle of the Champions” puts the fun in fundraiser
Big smiles, sizzling food, and funds raised, were the main ingredients of the Chef Showdown, “Battle of the Champions” on the evening of Wednesday, March 9, at Loaves & Fishes new Food Distribution Hub at 580 Exchange Court, Aurora. The event was held in partnership with My Chef Catering raising funds for essential services for struggling families in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.

This year, the event is held in partnership with My Chef and will raise funds for essential services for struggling families in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.

The past year saw wonderful growth in our organization. The addition of the Food Distribution Hub has given us the ability to serve three times the number of people in DuPage, Will, and now Kane and Kendall counties. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the many volunteers and community members who have supported this project and will allow us to move forward in our mission and vision.
